Last December, 15,000 young people gathered in Pretoria in South Africa under the slogan "Let us defeat imperialism, a world of peace, solidarity and social transformation ". In Quebec, 13 delegates attended the rally. We saw live social change in South Africa and how people overcome the terrible legacy of apartheid, we talk with student associations from across the world as we fight for free education, we have established links with other communist youth leagues, we meet with COSATU and other young unionists who now face the brutal attacks of capital in times of crisis, we walk alongside Cuban and Cuban , Palestinians and Palestinian, Sahrawi and the other nations of the world struggling against imperialism. In these times of resistance, we need to be secured beyond our borders.
